S.C. ISA FAST 2009

Points Race

 

In 2009, S.C. ISA FAST will have a point’s race for all participating teams and at the end of the ISA FALL BALL FINALE Tournament, the top 3 teams regardless of age bracket will receive a Team Points Championship Trophy and the individual players will be awarded in kind also.  At the end of the event all winners will be notified and their awards will be given to them if they are at this tournament.  You do not have to be present to win but you will be responsible for making arrangements to have your awards shipped to you.  In addition, the overall winner will receive a fund raising tournament in 2010.  All proceeds from the 2010 event, less tournament costs, will go to the team as a fundraiser for that organization.  All teams are on the same playing field here.  It doesn’t matter if your team is 8U or 18U, all teams are competing for the same awards and all earn the same points.  The more events you play and the better you finish, the more points scored and this will better your chances of being one of the top 3 teams. 

However, you have to play to win.  The last tournament to acquire points will be the ISA’s Fall Ball Finale Tournament.  Last Year’s winner was the The Carolina Survivors 12U and as a result they are the host of the Carolina Survivors Triple Points Shoot Out      Sumter on 08/07 thru 08/09 in Sumter. This event in itself is a huge points builder and can set your team above the rest.

There will be a 1st place team trophy and individual awards, 2nd place team trophy and individual awards, 3rd place team trophy and individual awards.  Also, the 2nd & 3rd place team will receive free entry into a 2010 event.  That is any event except the fundraisers and the state.  All teams must meet the point’s requirement for any award.  Simply, teams must acquire 275 points to be eligible to receive any awards from the point’s championship.  Points will be acquired in all events.  The points will be earned in the following manner. 

 

Teams will receive:

 

*30 points for 1st place finish.

*20 points for 2nd place finish.

*10 points for 3rd place finish.

*10 points for entering a S.C. ISA Fast event. 

 * 5 points for 4th place finish

 * 5 points for sanctioning with ISA

*25 Points for participation in the World Series

 

Bonus Events with a surplus of points

 

** The Worth Memorial Day Bash in Camden and Hartsville are both “DOUBLE POINT” events along with The ISA STATE, ISA Girls of Summer Classic, ISA's Sandhill's Pitch Off, ISA's Girls of The South, ISA's Summer Slam, Capital City Shoot Out, Fall Classic,The Fall State, Sandlappers Shoot Out, DUG OUT Shoot Out, Field Of Dreams, & ISA's Trick or Treat .  So the teams will receive 20 points upon entering, 10 for 4th, 20 for 3rd, 40 for 2nd, and 60 for 1st.
