5/7/2009Reminder

Gentlemen:

Our 43rd season of play begins next week. Here some are some reminders.

Any team needing line-up cards can contact me as I have some with me in my vehicle at all times.

Please fax game sheets and score book copies to Mary Beth immediately after game. There is a provision in our league for a fine for not doing so in a timely manner. This should not be needed.

Please be sure to use the score book that you were issued. Keep it for league games, not tournaments and you will have adequate sheets.

Please write legibly and press hard so sheets can be read easily.

As decided at our scheduling meeting we will send an all-star team to Drayton on July 1st for a Canada Day game with Kitchener.

We also will be playing an all-star game against  the AUSTRAILIAN NATIONAL TEAM in Milverton between July 4-July 12.

IF Monkton is a team short we have told them that a S.P.M.F.L. could be made available to make the 8th team. We would expect all teams to make players available if asked.

AND FINALLY…… THE UMPIRES ARE NOT THE ENEMY.WE CANNOT HAVE GAMES WITHOUT THEM. BEFORE BLOWING YOUR STACK, COUNT TO TEN. WE CAN USE THE $25.00,BUT WOULD LIKE TO SEE LESS EJECTIONS.

I will see you at a ball diamond somewhere this season.

Have a great season

Pres. George
