Second Interview:
Featuring: OSU BEAVER
So, first year in the big leagues, how does that make you feel?
Well, let me tell you, it is a big step-up from being a Boston College. When we won the championship, I and our teammates got our minute of fame. Now, we get time on Sports Centre every day. I am so excited to be at the top level. Especially if we win the cup!
That’s good to hear.
You where on the fourth line for the first couple of games, then got a couple points and were moved up to the third line, how does that make you feel?
It still feels great. But, it doesn't matter. I will take whatever I can get, I work hard for every piece of the trophy. I am happy, but I still get playing time. That, and winning is what matters to me.
Considering you are the second tallest on your team, do you think that gives you an advantage or disadvantage?
Um, well it matters how you think about it. I honestly think it is an advantage. Makes people feel your presence when their head is down, and it gives you a more able vision of the all-around ice. Their are the pros and cons, but I like it.
You have an Even +/- rating, and its the best for anybody not on the first line. That’s pretty good I think
Well, it could be better. We have only played 5 games, but I think it is solid. Our line doesn't score alot, but we don't let up a lot. It evens out, evidence by my rating. But I definately want to raise it higher, that may be my goal this year.
That’s great to hear, you currently are riding a 3 game losing streak, what has to change?
Well, we have to stop playing New York (laughs). We lost those three against them. All loses have been by less than 2 goals. We just have to play tough in the third period, and our D and forwards have to help Grand Dad and Sveddy out. It is early, so it is fine. We just can't let the losing continue, and We can't let it get to our heads.
your team is projected to come 13 in their conference, do you think different?
Totally. No question, TSN, ESPN, they can't predict. We are five games in, we win five straight games, we will have the division lead. No sweat, I am fine, we are on the right track, just need to get a streak going
Well, thanks a lot for that, and hope to see you against the Islanders!
Another NY team! I'll see you after the win, hopefully I can get my first career goal!
I will hope you the best, and see you later!

Interview:
Hello Mr. DoeorDie
Hey, how's it going
Its Going alright.
So First Captain ever for the Signature Sports All-Stars, how does that feel?
It feels great. I love to be a leader on the greatest team in the National Hockey League. I like all these players, and love that I'm the captain of one of the greatest teams ever assembled in NHL history.
So growing up, was it always your dream to play in the NHL?
Not really. I wanted to be a basketball player when I was a kid, but I was just too small, and would often times get in foul trouble. Then I learned about the sport of hockey and that hitting was actually legal in the sport. So, I practiced hard and ended up in an NHL roster as a top defensive player.
Who was your Idol for the NHL? Bobby Orr? Or a hard hitting Defensemen like Scott Stevens?
Actually my idol was Gordie Howe growing up. I know he wasn't a defensive player, but I admired that he was willing to fight to give his team some momentum, and sacrifice his body to win games.
Stepping onto the ice for the very first time in the National Hockey League, how did you feel?
Nervous. Didn't want to mess anything up at all. We we're playing the Atlanta Thrashers, who aren't really a walk in the park on offense with Kovalchuck and Hossa. It was fun to put them up against the wall, and in the end we were victors. But there were definitely some butterflies in my stomach.
Your Currently tied for First for points by a rookie, (SN Ninety-Three is the other) How does that make you feel? Which that also means your leading All Rookie Defensemen with 6 points in 7 games. Will your great success continue or is it just a lucky start?
Oh man, it's great. I really don't know if my success will continue, you can only hope. *laughs* However, if it doesn't continue, I'm satisfied with winning continuously and doing what I was signed to do, which is playing defense. I'm a defensive player, not a scorer, so this isn't just a surprise to the hockey world, but a surprise to me as well.
Your next opponent would be the Pittsburgh Penguins. What do you need to do against such an offensive team to win?
Defense. Defense wins championships, and is going to have to be our major foundation if we expect to make a run at the Stanley Cup. We already know as a team that we can score points, so our main goal at the moment is winning the face off battle and keeping Pittsburgh from getting many shots on goal.
Well, this is all the time that we have for The Signature Sports All-Star captain. Good luck against the Penguins Mr. DoeorDie! And see you on the ice.
Thanks for taking your time to interview, it's great to captain of one of the best franchises in sports. Thanks to all the fans out there, and go Signature Sports!
