Favorite football moment?

I know it sounds clich' but it is really tough to pick one moment.  I guess it would be the first time I ever scored a touchdown in pee wee football.  I just remember the amazing feeling I felt after beating the defense and making it into the endzone for the first time.  The bad thing about it is that feeling only lasts for a few seconds and then it is gone.  The great thing about it is that it only makes you hungry for that feeling again and makes you work that much harder for the next touchdown.  This is what I love about the game.

Why do you play the game?
I play the game because I love to compete.  I love the camaraderie with my teammates and working with everyone as a team toward the same common goal.  Since I was a little kid I have loved to play football.  It helped me to develop a special bond with my father (coach) and allowed me to develop the qualities that I believe are necessary to succeed in life:  Passion, Dedication, Determination and Confidence.

Who is your childhood idol?
Definitely my Father and my Mother.  I was blessed with two wonderful parents who taught me strong values and set a great example for myself and my siblings.  Without their love and never ending support I would not have had the great opportunities that I did.  Even though my Dad lives in Texas, he has been to every game I have ever played in from Little League, Middle School, High School Sports, College Sports and now Semi-Pro.  Thank you Dad for always being there.

What is your occupation?

Medical Device Sales

What do you like to do when you arent playing football?
I love to work out and challenge myself everyday in the gym, spend time with my family, friends and my amazing wife Ashley.  I am constantly trying to improve myself every day, in every aspect of my life.

What is your favorite quote?
"Winning is not a sometime thing; it's an all the time thing.  You don't win once in a while; you don't do things right once in a while; you do them right all the time.  Winning is a habit." - Vince Lombardi

"A man's worth is no greater than his ambitions."  - Marcus Aurelius

"Do they give All-Star Championship Rings" -  MAG 44

Said to an Illinois Firehawk Player on the GMFL North All-Star team after they beat us in the GMFL All-Star game and went crazy as if they just won a League championship, like the Cyclones did against the Firehawks the night before.
