The Syracuse IceHoles went to Lake Placid 2/1/08 to play in the Labatt Blue USA Hockey adult classic tournamet.  The team was a mix of 9 regular 'Holes, 5 Nothern Saranac Lakers, and two DownStaters. What a combo it was as Three ful lines mixed it up well with teams from the Northeast. The IceHoles went 2-1 in the first rounds making the title game. They beat "Snail Pail" for the second time to take it all. It took a late goal with minutes remaining to get the game winner in the 5-4 contest. The IceHoles called  a timeout and put a line that cotained one member from each line. It worked! The IceHoles played in the new Intermediate division and feel the seeding was perfect. The IceHoles expect to return next year for a 5th  appearance to defend its title. Hopefully Snail Pail will also be attending.
