Robbie Rogers is the 39-year-old statistician of your Toombs County Bulldogs. He is a 1987 graduate of Waynesboro High School where he played football for 4 years at the positions of Center and Linebacker, baseball for 4 years at the positions of 3rd base, Catcher, Pitcher, and Outfielder, and participated in Track and Field.
Robbie attended Brewton-Parker College and Auburn University. He has 8 years previous football coaching experience at Burke County High School, Greer High School (S.C.), and Robert Toombs Christian Academy. Additionally, Robbie has coached Toombs County Kid's Wrestling, served 7 years as Head Coach of South Georgia Diamond Warrior Baseball HS Team and 2 years as a birddog scout with the Atlanta Braves.
Robbie was named the 1997 GISA Coach of the Year in Track and Field, and Assistant Coach of the year for Region/District's 4 times.
Robbie is married to Denise Moore Rogers, the "Voice of the Redcoats". They have a son John Dennis “J.D.” and have been married for 13 years. Denise is a 3rd Grade Teacher at Lyons Upper Elementary. Robbie is in his 3rd year as the “Statistician” for the DOGS. They live in Lyons and attend 1st Baptist Church in Lyons.
