T-BALL QUESTIONS
Q. How old does my child have to be to play T-Ball?
A. A child must be 5 years old on or by April 30th 2008 in order to old to play. This
a little league rule and there can be no exceptions.

Q. Does my child have to live in Larkspur or Corte Madera to
play T-Ball?
A. No, Twin Cities T-Ball is open to all kids no matter where
they live.

Q. Where is T-Ball played?
A. Practices and games are played at Gilardi Field located on
Alexander Ave next to Joe Wagner Field. This beautiful
field is for the exclusive use of T-Ball players

Q. Are uniforms provided?
A. Yes, each player will receive a hat and a jersey which they
can keep after the season. You will need to supply a mitt,
white baseball pants and baseball socks to match their jersey.

Q. Can my child be on the same team as their friends?
A. Yes, When you sign up, give the name of your childs friends
that they would like to play with and every effort will be made
accommodate you.

Q. How and when do I find out which team my child is on?
A. Due to the popularity and enrollment of these levels, we are not able to make team assignments until just immediately before the Managers’ meeting for each of these leagues.

The league reps compile all of the applications, recruit managers, and make team assignments up to the very last minute to accommodate as many as possible. One of our challenges is in recruiting volunteers to manage/coach so if you are reading this and can give or share with others 2.5 hours a week, you’ll help us complete team and manager assignments earlier!  We will double the salary of last year’s volunteer managers and let you park for free at the stadium.

We direct our managers to call each and every player the very next day to welcome and inform them about their team, e.g. first practice, other teammates, what the team color is, etc.

Thank you for your patience

Q. Who can I contact if I have more questions?
A. The Twin Cities T-Ball director, Dan Ahern
or e-mail him at dan@fogcitymarketing.com

REGISTRATION QUESTIONS
Q. What do I need to bring to sign my child up?
A. New players to the league MUST supply a copy of their birth
certificate at the time of registration along with medical
information. (Doctors name, phone number, address and insurance
ID number)

Q. What division should my child register for?
A. League divisions are determined by age. They are as follows:
5 to 6 for T-Ball
6 to 7 for Farm League
8 years old for Rookie League
9 to 11 for Minor League
10 to 12 for Major League
13 to 14 for Junior League
14 to 16 for Senior League

ROOKIE/MINOR LEAGUE ASSIGNMENT
Q. Are all players who tryout for the Minor League assigned to a team?
A. All players are assessed at the tryouts and if there is a concern that the player does not have the needed skills they will be reassigned to Rookie League before the Minor draft

Q. Can a player tryout for both Rookie and Minor Leagues?
A. We recommend that players considering moving up to the Minors tryout at the Minor League Tryout.  If they are determined to have the skills for Minors they will be put into the draft.  If not they will be assigned to the Rookie League before the draft.

Q. Will my player be able to play on a team with his/her friends in the Minors?
A. All Minor League teams are determined through a draft of players.  Once a player has been drafted they may not switch teams nor may they move back to the Rookie League.  The vast majority of kids find this to be a great experience in terms of making new friends through baseball

See Division Rules on the main menu for a more detailed description of each league.
