SIDNEY FIELD HOCKEY LEAGUE

 

Dates: (Wednesdays): July 9, 16, 23, 30, & Aug 6

 

Where: Sidney High School (turf stadium field) 

             Address: 95 West Main Street Sidney NY 13838

 

Time: 4:30pm - 9pm (warmups @ 4:10pm) 

 

Fee: $10 per session per player (payable to Vestal FH Booster Club) via Cash, Check, Venmo. Payment needs to be made weekly prior to session starting on Wednesday. Make note on venmo with player and date. 

 

Format: 7 v 7 

 

Games: 6-7 (25 min in length)

 

Gear: Black shorts, black socks, personalized Vestal FH pinney.

 

Philosophy: This is an "invite-only" field hockey experience exclusively for players who are serious about elevating their game. Participation is limited to dedicated players who demonstrate a commitment to personal growth, competitive excellence, and long-term development. Vestal's participants are expected to train independently—running weekly to build stamina, sharpening their stick skills on their own, and preparing both mentally and physically to compete against competitive opponents. This is not a recreational experience—it’s an opportunity for driven players to challenge themselves and take their game to the next level.

 

Players submit their mile times every Monday via text to Coach Sax (315) 750-0255
