Whitmer Grad at Adrian College is Pitcher of the Week

Whitmer High School Graduate Ryan Domschot was named the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association pitcher of the week on April 6.

Domschot, a sophomore starter for Adrian College, led the bulldogs to two wins over Kalamazoo.  Domschot allowed only one earned run in eight innings and struck out 13 in the weekend victories. In a 15-1 win over the hornets, Domschout struck out nine in five innings of work.

On the season, Domschot is 6-0 in seven starts with 43 strikeouts in 36 2/3 innings of work.  He has an earned run average of 1.96.  It is the second time this season that Domschot was named the MIAA pitcher of the week.
