Men’s League Rules and Regulations

 Rosters

All game participants must be legally rostered, or that game will be forfeited.
 
All rosters must be completely filled out and turned into the scorekeeper before they play their first league game.
 Only 20 players and 2 goalies may be rostered. If a team does not have a goalie and both rostered goalies are unavailable a non rostered goalie may be used for 1 game with permission from the league director. A list of goalies is available at the rink.

 All players must have matching jerseys with their unique player number. If a player forgets a jersey he must wear a blank jersey and be signed in at the beginning of the game. The team will forfeit the game if a player is caught wearing another player’s jersey.

Games
 all games will consist of 3 15 minute stop time periods

 In the regular season if the game is tied after three periods, there will be a 5 man shootout to determine the winner. If still tied after 5 players, the teams will continue to shoot one at a time- sudden death style. A team must go through the entire bench before a player can shoot a second time.

There will be a 5 minute warmup. If after the 5 minutes a team does not have 5 players and a goalie on the ice they will forfeit the game.

If a team does not have a goalie they must forfeit. No exceptions! If during the game a goalie is injured, the team may play with 6 players while another player is dressing to replace the goalie. If a referee ejects a goalie from the game that team will have to forfeit.

If after the second period a team is winning by 5 goals or more the clock will be running time.

Playoffs

A player must play in at least 6 games in a 16 game season in order to play in the playoffs. (4 games in a 10 game season)

If in a playoff the game is tied after 3 periods there will be a 5 minute sudden death overtime. If after 5 minutes the game is still tied there will be a 5 man shootout.

 fighting

 Fighting is classified by throwing one punch at an opponent and will result in a at least a game ejection.

In a shoving match or fight the 3rd man in or any player that leaves the bench- even to break it up- will automatically be ejection.
 
Additional discipline Any player receiving 5 penalties in one game will be ejected from that game and will receive an additional one game suspension.

The league director reserves the right to remove any player from the league or game for behavior that is determinal to the integrity of the league and the wonderland of ice association.
 No refund will be given.

Protests

Any player protesting a call to an unrulely manner will be given a misconduct penalty
