Week 3: (The Week of the O/Usmans) Osman Ahmed- Epic/ Usman Khan- OC Ballers

From the opening tip, Osman "the BEAST" Ahmed showed that he was worth mentioning. He put up numbers like no one has seen before (37 points, 19 boards, 7 blocks). Not only did his numbers show, but his defensive presence was felt throughout the game, holding Offensive nightmare, Ali Khan, to 26% shooting, one of the most impressive performances in YMB history.

Usman Khan just came out flaming, hitting almost every shot (29 pts), and grabbing almost board that came even close to his way (17) (if not for THE BEAST he would have his place in the rebound record book) He just played Shut down defense, claiming the inside for himself intimidating OU from even going into his territory (3 blks, 4 stls) . He simply looked unstoppable, possibly due to One Ummah's defense, but one thing is for sure, both these players made a huge claim to the most improved player award.

Week 4: The Team- OC Ballers

They came out strong and played as a complete unit throughout the game with a swarming defense (20 steals) and a balanced, unselfish offense (record 23 assists), with all players in double digit scoring and 4 players scoring more than 20 points.

Week 5: Junaid Ansari- Hangtime

Just plain hustled throughout the game, and was rewarded for it putting up 35 points, 6 rebounds, 3 asssists, and 2 steals, helping Hangtime pick up their first win of the season.

Week 6: Ali Khan- Hangtime

Had an outstanding performance helping lead Hangtime out of this very close game with a victory. He put up incredible numbers with his 27 points and 5 assists, and also broke the rebounds record grabbing 22 boards.

Week 7: Farhan Jangda- Individuals

Helped lead the Individuals past One Ummah, just hustling for everything and showing how bad he wanted to reach the playoffs.

After the first weeks of the league, teams look to have improved. Some magnificent rookie performances show that the talent in this league is rising
