To participate in the JTGA, players must have the approval of their Golf Professional or Event Coordinator. 9 Hole Eligibilty - Must be age 13 and under on or before June 1, 2009. (Boys turning 14 after June 1, 2009 can participate in the 2009 JTGA. Girls age 14 on or after January 1, 2009 are eligible for the 9 Hole JTGA 2009 season.) Medalist advance to the MO-KAN Tournament of Champions. JTGA members, it is your responsibility to be informed by checking the JTGA website i.e. schedules, updates, etc. Players must be able to score under 60 for 9 holes to participate in this division.

Important::
1.To participate in the JTGA, all players must have the approval of their Golf Professional or Event Coordinator.
2.Participant’s golf course must be registered with the JTGA.
3.PARENT COMMITMENT:
I understand that among my responsibilities as a parent of a JTGA Junior Golfer, if assigned by my Club; I am to take an active part in being a walker (or provide an adult substitute / walker acceptable to host club) on event days.
JTGA 9 HOLE JUNIOR GOLF PARENT COMMITMENT STATEMENT (MUST BE ACCEPTED) FOR YOUR JUNIOR GOLFER TO BE ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN JTGA EVENTS.
IMPORTANT ... If a Golf Course does not have a walker representing their Team for an event, the Team WILL NOT receive Team points for the event. If the ratio of players to walkers for the event exceeds the 1:4 (Walker :Player), those players without a Walker representing their Team will not be permitted to play the event.
4. JTGA™ Club Rules & Dress Code
There are club rules and dress codes for all JTGA™ golfers. These rules are important. Each JTGA™ Junior Golf participant and parent/ walker should know and adhere to the following:
The rules for the clubhouse, golf course, practice range and putting green are: Traditional steel spikes in golf shoes are prohibited. Inappropriate dress includes, but is not limited to, tank tops, halter tops, tube tops, cut off shorts, cargo pants /cargo shorts, athletic shorts (jogging, soccer, etc...) sweat suits, gym/swim trunks, T-shirts or blue denim jeans. Hats & visors will be worn with bill forward. The JTGA™ requires wearing collared golf shirts with shirt tails tucked in.
To be safe … Please follow the DRESS CODE of your own course, however, if you have any questions, please call the host course. The HOST GOLF COURSE DRESS CODE will be HONORED.
5. Players Accepting Accountability & Responsibility
As a responsible Junior Golfer, I understand that I must abide by the following rules:
a. If I don’t understand something, I will ask.
b. No foul language will be allowed. Remember to be quiet while other golfers are hitting.
c. Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes (9 Hole) before the scheduled start of the tee time.
d. Please clean up all litter. Repair all divots, yours, and others. If you don’t know how to repair divots, please ask. Rake all traps.
e. Junior golfers must carry their own clubs.
f. Lay flags gently on the putting surface in order to avoid damage. Golf bags should not be placed on the putting surface.
g. Count all strokes including whiffs. Honesty and integrity are part of the game. Only by counting all strokes can your progress be measured.
h. Date, sign and attest the scorecards in your group.
6. NO SPECTATORS. The JTGA does not allow spectators on the golf course during a JTGA event.
7. The JTGA prefers player registration be submitted through Paypal.
8. My child has my permission to play in JTGA events. If my child is injured or becomes ill during a JTGA event, I authorize the host golf course to obtain such medical attention as needed, including surgery or emergency care. I agree to pay all medical and hospital charges for my child’s treatment. As child’s legal guardian I hereby agree to all of the foregoing.
