Manitoba Cricket Association is proud to announce two recent developments.
The selection of Suresh Jayaraman one of our premier players in the League to the long list of [30 player] tryouts for the Canadian senior team. He will travel to Toronto to take part in trials from May 23 - 25, 2005. We all wish him good luck.
The ICC has awarded Manitoba Cricket Association the “Best Overall Cricket Development Award for the Americas for 2004.” It’s an award that gives recognition to the scope and diversity of the programs run by Manitoba Cricket Association. It was the second time that Manitoba Cricket Association had applied for this award.
Congratulations to all who have worked to promote and develop cricket in Manitoba
The CCA is seeking individuals within Canada for the positions of Manager and Coach for the Canadian U-19 team. The team will be preparing for the ICC U 19 tournament to be played in Toronto from August 7th to August 13th 2005. Both positions should be filled long before the tournament. Part of the responsibilities of the successful applicants will the preparation and submission of documents to the ICC, matters relating to eligibility and fitness plus other related responsibilities for the tournament.
Applications along with a CV (marked U-19 official) should be forwarded to the General Secretary at the address listed below not later than 12:00 midnight June 15th 2005.
