The Navigation Links page is where you can add, remove, or rename the links on your site's navigation bar.
(Layout & Media > Navigation Links)
The left side lists the links in your navigation bar, and the right side lists available (unused) links. You can click a link on the right and press one of the green "Add to ..." buttons to add this link to either the top or bottom row of your navigation bar. You can also click a link on the left and press a red "Remove" button to remove it from the navigation bar.
You can rename a link by selecting it, going down to the Edit Selected Link section and changing the name in the "Label (Name of Link)" field.
Adding a Custom Page
Adding the Custom link adds a "New Page" to the left side, which you can then rename using the "Label (Name of Link)" field below. This creates a Custom Page that can be used to display any information you like. Custom Pages are a blank text area, and you can edit these pages under Page Editors > Custom Pages.
More help for Custom Pages can be found in our Custom Pages FAQ.
Links to other Websites
You can make any link go to another site like Google.com by selecting it on the left, going down to the Edit Selected Link section and entering the web address (http://www.google.com) into the the "Link (Go to this page):" field. Click the Save Changes button, then go up and click the green Preview Your Site link to see the results. The link you changed should now go Google.com's website. To change it back, switch back to the Navigation Links page, select the same link and empty out the "Link (Go to this page):" field. Click the Save Changes button, then go up and click the green Preview Your Site link to check.
TIPS
- You can remove a page while you are still working on it, and then add it back when the page is finished. This works for both standard pages and custom pages.
- If you create a custom page, but do not see it in your list of custom pages, remove the link from your navigation bar, then save. Next, re-create the custom link.
- Drop-down navigation bars are created through custom HTML files. If you create your own custom HTML navigation bar, upload it to your FIle Manager and contact support, and we can replace the standard nav bar with your custom file.
- You can contact support to change the color, font or size of your navigaiton links.
- You can contact support to change the label or link in your "Home" or "League" navigation links.
