HomeTeamsONLINE Customer Picked as Top 5 High School Site By Sports Illustrated

Our Lady of Lourdes Academy’s HomeTeamsONLINE site was picked by Sports Illustrated for their article "True Web Gems" (Sept 27, 2006). Their site is extremely thorough, featuring individual biographies, photos, slideshows, a Hall of Fame, training tips, and background music, and much more.
Kevin Armstrong, author of the article, did not mention that Our Lady of Lourdes Academy’s website is a HomeTeamsONLINE.com do-it-yourself websites which can be set up for $45 per year! The other four sites are apparently custom designed by web development companies - we do not know the cost, but we are betting it was more than $75.
The services used at HomeTeamsONLINE are intended for the average person to be able to easily build a site their players and fans can all be proud of, at a fraction of the price of hiring an expert webmaster. We congratulate Our Lady of Lourdes Academy’s for making the Sports Illustrated Top 5 list!
UPDATE Sept 2008
Nearly two years later the Our Lady of Lourdes Academy’s site is an improvement over what was featured in 2006. Coach Ary Montalvo deserves much credit for keeping the site up to date and full of quality content. To date they now have more than 68,000 hits to their site. That is quite a feat for a do-it-yourself website.
