WHAT'S A MULTI-SPORT ORGANIZATION?
Sports organizations that include many sports, or simply wish to separate teams into several sites, will want to set up a multi-sport account, or in short, a "HQ" (Headquarters). Large athletic departments, schools, universities, and multi-sport complexes usually require a multi-sport HQ account.
WHAT'S A HQ?
Basically a HQ controls many team sites. A multi-sport HQ can even control other HQs in addition to teams. Normally each sport gets its own site, whether you have one team, or a group of teams. The key advantage is when you log in as the “main” HQ site administrator, you can “jump” to any other site within your account.
HOW MUCH IS a MULTI-SPORT HQ?

A significant discount is applied after adding the price of each sport or team site in the HQ. The discount is based on the overall size of the package. Since a lot of flexibility is allowed, a custom invoice is provided with the price calculated by our support specialists.

Just sign up to start a FREE 30 day trial - choose the multi-sport option. Once you create your multi-sport account, you can easily check out all the features. You can add sports & teams at any time during the free trial, so its easy to test the site and make changes. Plus our support team is on hand if you have questions.
WHO CAN LOG INTO A MULTI-SPORT ACCOUNT?
You create the main account login, which provides access to everything on your account. However, you can also allow separate log-in access to any team or HQ within your account - so your staff only has access to the site they are in charge of.
TEAMS & HQs?

Sports organizations operate in many different ways, and each customer uses their account in a unique way. If you are a large organization, your sports website will likely need to be customized to fit your needs - so we’ve designed HomeTeamsONLINE sports sites to be very flexible, using a few basic types of sites:
 

  • TEAM: A TEAM site is simple, it is one team of one sport. A single TEAM site can easily be converted into a multi-team HQ site at any time.
  • HQ (multi-team): A HQ site is used to manage many TEAMs. You can even organize TEAMS into divisions and sub-divisions. The multi-team HQ site allows lots of flexibility, but all teams must be playing the same sport.**
    A multi-team HQ must be all one sport to keep compatibility among the game scores, rosters, schedules, league leaders, and statistics. (Typical multi-team HQs are leagues and clubs.)
  • HQ (multi-sport): A multi-sport HQ is similar to the multi-team HQ, but it can contain combinations of HQs and TEAMs. Multi-sport HQ accounts are extremely flexible: you could set up a regional sports program made of several large leagues, or a school athletic department that has many sports, with one or several teams in each sport. (Typical multi-sport HQs are large organizations, athletic programs, sports complexes, schools & universities.)
