Multiple Admins Updating App Scores

The app and website both post scores to the same scoring engine.  The main difference is the way the screen will show any conflicts.

When you have a league with multiple admins updating scores at the same time, there will be no functionality issues. You can set it so that one or both teams can update their scores at the same time, live or after the game, from a mobile device or their computers.

Synch Up!

The apps will auto sync every 5 minutes by default with the web and also do a check any time data is submitted.

Averting Conflicts

Conflicts are ignored while a game is In Progress (games are set In Progress by default in the App).  When both teams post, they will automatically overwrite the values of the other team.

After either team marks the game as final, the app will confirm if any changes have been made, and if so will notify the app user there is a conflict and give them the option to sync (to what the other team posted), or overwrite them with their own scores (which will case a conflict for league review).

Team Posting Rules

This functionality can be modified under Schedule > Options : Team Posting Rules.

* Auto-Update Opponents Score

Auto update is the default.  As noted, if one team finalizes and the other team tries making changes, a conflict notice will be sent.  This is the easiest way to manage, and only in exceptions should have to be involved and review.

* Each team enters own score

The alternative is he change to each team enters own score.  This will cause the team to post the results only to their own account.  The league website will default to the Home Team values in case of a conflict.

Conflict Resolution

The League Admin Schedule will color code the scores buttons and notify of any conflicts (bright red).  It will also notify if only one of the teams have entered scores.  The league admin can go into the scores and save to push the values down to both teams and settle any conflicts.  This requires more work on the league admin, but prevents teams from auto posting their results to the opposing teams website.
