We currently support importing GameChanger single game stats for baseball and softball.

You must first have your players entered into your HomeTeamsONLINE website account. The names and player numbers are required to import stats. Then you have to have entered a game, as the stats are imported into a game by editing the stats for the game.

The import feature matches player numbers, but missing players can be added as you import. 
 

Note: If you have a GameChanger College Account, you can export an XML file. This allows import of scores and stats for both teams, as well as the play-by-play in one file. (Your school would need to be entered with the correct division code and your NCAA college code number in your GameChanger account.)

GameChanger CSV Export Format

The import feature matches player numbers, so you will want to be sure those have been entered correctly. Missing players can be added to your HTOsports site as you import. For standard GameChanger accounts, you can only export stats one team at a time. 
 

1. Be sure to have the NEW GC app installed with the same email address used for GC Classic
2. After completing a game, log into the GameChanger site on a PC through the Staff Portal.
3. Go to the Stats page.
4. Click on Filter Stats on the right, then check the box for the single game to be exported.
5. After setting the filter, click on Export Stats.

More detailed step-by-step process below.

Importing Into HomeTeamsONLINE

1) Select the game in HomeTeamsONLINE you want to add the data to.
2) Click the IMPORT button on the game nav to go to the import tool

3) Click to upload your file. If the format is correct you will see a preview
4) Check the preview - if the information is correct hit save and your stats will be added to your game.

How to download GameChanger statistics:

1. Log in to Gamechanger (via computer) 
a. Scroll to the desired game (one game only)
b. Click on “Game Highlights”
c. Click on “box score” 
d. Scroll to “Admin tools”
e. Click on “XML Export"
f. Exit from Gamechanger (GC) web site
 

2. Check your “Downloads” folder Confirm location of GC file on your computer (most likely in your “Downloads” folder)

3. Log in to your HomeTeamsONLINE web site (as administrator) 
a. Click on “Schedule”
b. Click on “schedule and results”
c. Scroll to desired game
d. Click “info” (for desired game)
e. Click on “import” (from overhead bar)
f. Click on “select file to import”
g. Select file (downloaded from GC) to import
h. Click on box “I have reviewed and ……”
