| What is the quickest way to get my tournament set up? |
| 1. Create your event. Go to Add-Edit Events and create it. Name it after the tournament, not your organization. Pick the sport and a date. A tentative date is fine and gives the schedule something to work from, and you can change it later. |
| 2. Add a competition. One for each division or age group, for example Boys 14U. Each competition has its own brackets, teams and schedule. |
| 3. Set up the bracket. Choose round robin, single elimination, double elimination, or a custom bracket. For pool play, set how many pools, how many teams in each, and how many advance. |
| 4. Add your teams. Open Add Teams and type or paste your team names, one per line. This costs nothing. |
| 5. Assign teams to slots. Teams can stay as placeholders. An unfilled slot shows a seed number and everything downstream still works, so you can build your whole event before a single team is confirmed. When you are ready: click a slot and pick a team, or click a team then click a slot. For a full event, use bulk edit from the gear on the Available Teams panel, then fill slots. A team credit is spent only when a team goes into a slot. |
| 6. Build the schedule. Four steps: how many courts or fields, which dates, what times, then adjustments. Quick fill lays out the whole day from your start time, game length and gap. Locations can stay as placeholders too, and dates can be changed later. |
| 7. Enter scores. Within a bracket the winner moves to the next round on its own. Standings calculate themselves. Moving teams from one stage to the next, such as pool play into the finals, is yours to review and accept. |
| 8. Share it. Your tournament website is live as you build. You can also embed your brackets on a website you already have. |
| Short on team credits? Your event still works. Any slot you have not filled keeps its seed number as a placeholder, and the brackets, schedule and scoring carry on around it. |
