Start by creating your free trial account at Sign Up. Pick your sport and name your league.

If you run a multi-team league, choose the League option during signup. This gives you a central dashboard to manage all your teams, divisions, and schedules from one place.

Key setup steps:

• Go to Teams > Setup Teams to add your divisions and teams
• Each team can have its own admin who manages their roster and page
• Use Gear icon > Permissions to control exactly what each role can access

You can import your player roster from a spreadsheet or CSV file. No need to re-enter everyone manually.

How to import:

1. Go to Roster > Import Contacts
2. Copy and paste your data from a spreadsheet, or upload a CSV file
3. Match your columns to the right fields (name, email, phone, etc.)
4. If you have multiple teams, assign players to teams during import
5. Review and confirm

The import wizard supports up to 250 rows at a time and handles players, coaches/staff, and mailing list contacts.

Bring your game schedule over from a spreadsheet.

How to import:

1. Go to Schedule > Schedule & Results
2. Click the Import option
3. Paste or upload your schedule data with dates, times, opponents, and locations
4. Map your columns and review

You can also use the Schedule Wizard to auto-generate a round-robin or tournament bracket schedule for your league.

HomeTeamsONLINE supports full box score stats for every sport. For historical data from LeagueLineup, you have a few options:

Season Totals (quickest for past seasons):

• Go to Stats for any past season
• Enter cumulative season totals for each player
• This preserves your league's historical records without needing game-by-game data

GameChanger Import:

• If your league used GameChanger for scoring, you can import those stats directly
• Go to Stats > Import and follow the GameChanger import steps

Game-by-Game Entry:

• For the most complete records, enter scores and stats per game
• Standings, leaders, and player profiles update automatically

HomeTeamsONLINE includes online registration with integrated payments, no additional fees.

How to set up:

1. Go to Registration > Registration Forms
2. Create a form with the fields you need (player info, emergency contacts, waivers, etc.)
3. Set pricing and payment options
4. Share the registration link with your league members

Registrants can pay online and their information flows directly into your roster. No separate payment service needed.

One of the most requested features from LeagueLineup users. HomeTeamsONLINE lets you define exactly who can do what.

How permissions work:

• Each person on your account has a role (Owner, Webmaster, Coach, etc.)
• Click the Gear icon on any page to see permission settings for that feature
• Drill down to control access at a granular level: who can edit the schedule, who can post scores, who can manage the roster
• Team-level admins can manage their own team without accessing other teams' data

If you already have a custom domain (like www.yourleague.com) pointing to LeagueLineup, you can point it to HomeTeamsONLINE instead.

First, contact us to add your domain to your account so we can get it ready. All-Star and Champion users: we can manage the domain for you.

Then update two DNS records at your domain registrar (GoDaddy, Namecheap, etc.). The easiest way is your Domain Setup page, which shows the exact records with copy buttons and tracks your progress. Or set them yourself:

1. Set the www record to a CNAME with the value hto.hometeamsonline.com
2. Set your main domain record (the A record, shown as @) to 174.138.109.213
3. Remove any existing domain forwarding on the domain

Leave everything else as it is, especially your email (MX) records. Once saved, your secure padlock (HTTPS) turns on automatically, with nothing for you to manage.

Your fans will see the same URL they always have, now powered by HomeTeamsONLINE.
