Meet & Match Results

Individual results let you score a meet by each athlete's performance — many teams and many athletes in the same event — instead of a single team-vs-team score. It's built for sports like track & field.

Set up a meet or match

From your schedule, add a Meet or Match. In Meet Setup you can:

  • Add the teams in the meet — choose your league's teams from the dropdown (their rosters come along automatically), or type in an outside-league team.
  • Set the date, location, and host (who runs the meet).

A match is simply a meet between two teams; a meet can have any number of teams.

Add an event & enter results

Open the meet, go to the Meet Results tab, and click + add event. Pick the event from the Track or Field list (or type your own with other event).

The event opens ready to score — it fills in every team in the meet, sets the default unit, and assigns the heat/flight number for you. For each athlete:

  • Pick the athlete from that team's roster (or type a name for an outside-league athlete).
  • Enter the place, the mark/time, and (if you score points by hand) the points.
  • Use + add athlete or the athletes count to add or remove rows, then click save all.

Place leads each result, and 1st / 2nd / 3rd get gold, silver, and bronze badges. Team Scores are tallied automatically from the points.

Prefer to enter one performance at a time? Set Add event to Single athlete in meet settings (below).

Flag a result — foul, DNF, DQ…

Beside each mark is a small warning triangle. Use it to flag a result. The mark you entered is kept (so a disputed result survives if the dispute is won), and a flagged split is left out of the total.

  • foul — an illegal attempt in a field event (for example, stepping past the takeoff board in a jump, or crossing the line in a throw). The attempt doesn’t count toward the result.
  • DNF — Did Not Finish: the athlete started the event but didn’t complete it.
  • DNS — Did Not Start: the athlete was entered but didn’t start.
  • DQ — Disqualified: the result was thrown out for a rule violation — a lane infraction, a false start, and so on.
  • NH — No Height: in the high jump or pole vault, the athlete didn’t clear any height.
Meet settings (the wrench)

The wrench at the top-right of the meet holds meet-wide options:

  • Scoring — choose a system (10-8-6-5-4-3-2-1 for championship meets, or 5-3-1 / 5-3-2-1 for dual meets) and points fill in automatically from each athlete's place. Choose none to enter points by hand, or use clear all points to reset them.
  • Default units — the time format and distance unit (including yards) applied to new entries.
  • Add event — enter Multiple athletes at once (the default) or Single athlete at a time.

Heats & flights are numbered automatically (1–99) to the next open number — “heat” for track events, “flight” for field events. You can type your own number to override.

Set the format for one event type

Each event-type heading (Sprints, Middle Distance, Jumps, and so on) shows its mark format on the right — for example 00:00.00 for a sprint or 00' 00" for a jump. Click it to open the format options, page through them with change, then click Save.

Every event type can keep its own format, so a sprint can read SS.cc while a distance race reads MM:SS.cc in the same meet. Anything already entered is converted to the new format, so no marks are lost. The meet-wide defaults (in the meet settings wrench) are the starting point for any event type you haven’t set on its own.

Group, collapse & set up events ahead of time
  • Turn on group by events to organize the meet into Track Events and Field Events, then by category (Sprints, Hurdles, Jumps, Throws, and so on).
  • Click any heading to collapse it, or use expand all / collapse all to get a quick outline of the meet.
  • To lay out events in advance, add an event and click save all with the rows left blank — it creates the event with empty spots you can fill in as results come in.
Relays, attempts & splits

Click a saved result to open it and add a breakdown:

  • Relays are recorded by team — pick the team in the athlete column, then use the relay breakdown to list each leg's runner and split. The team time adds up automatically.
  • Field events can be broken into attempts — mark fouls, and the best legal attempt becomes the result.
  • Distance races can record lap splits that total to the final time.
How it looks on your website

Visitors see each meet laid out as Teams, Results, and Team Scores — the same place-first layout with medals and Track / Field groups they can expand and collapse.

Results on the athlete’s profile

Once an athlete has meet results, their profile gains a Results tab that gathers their marks across every team and season they’ve competed for. Personal Records shows their best legal mark in each event, and All Results lists every mark by date — place first, with gold, silver, and bronze badges on 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.

Turn on Individual mode

Note: Contact us to activate this toggle feature. In your Schedule & Results settings, set the Score Entry and Stats Mode to Individual. This switches the site from the standard team scoreboard to the meet format — schedule, scores, and stats all use individual results. You can switch back to Team at any time.
