*** THE CMV FUTURES PROGRAM IS NOW FULL ***
--------------------------
Central Mass Voodoo (CMV) is excited to announce the start of their CMV Futures program. The focus of this program is teaching the fundamentals of softball to 7-8 year olds, making their future integration into competitive game of softball easier.
This program will be limited to 16 participants and will be filled on a first come, first serve basis.
CMV Futures will be held on Saturdays, from 3-4pm, beginning Sept. 15th and will run every Saturday through March 30th. Thanks to various sponsors including Union Square Sports Hub, Leominster Lassie League, CMV Softball, as well as others to be announced, the program will be free of charge!
The program will begin outdoors in September using the Leominster Lassie League instructional field and move indoors in November to the Union Square Sports Hub and will be staffed each week by different CMV coaches as well as current CMV players that will assist in the activities. All participants will be given a program t-shirt and cap.
Besides fundamentals we hope to expose the participants to what it means to be a positive member of a team. You wouldn’t think that getting pizza or ice cream together is that big of a deal but it is a great bonding exercise, so a few afternoons will be dedicated to such.
It is our hope that through this program, future softball players will have fun and develop a love for the game of softball and the skill set necessary to succeed.

Central Mass Voodoo Mission Statement
To create and maintain an organization that is focused on giving girls and young women the opportunity to learn and to play competitive softball.
As travel softball is competitive, CMV Softball recognizes an obligation to put together the most balanced and successful teams possible. Roster spots are earned by our players each season.
We help our players develop their skills through consistent, positive and fun training of the fundamentals of fastpitch softball. We also emphasize good sportsmanship and camaraderie, as we consider these to be core elements of any sport.
Our hope is that through the above, we will help each player attain the highest level of playing ability that they desire.
