Team SAMBAT played a solid game on Tuesday but it just wasn't enough to fend off the streaking Team EASTON. We tip our hats to Easton, they had the toughest road of any team (maybe ever) to take the title. To beat the Tigers, Muckdogs, and us three straight weeks took nearly perfect baseball and that's exactly how they played. Their pitcher was efficient and went the distance while his defense was awesome. Every time we hit the ball hard or were beginning to rally they got the big out needed to get off the hook. Team SAMBAT was made up of great group of guys who played their best, had a great run, and have nothing to hang our heads about. We will be back... Thanks everyone who helped in this great season! I would be happy to play with anyone on this team ANYTIME!
