Q: When is registration?
A: Registration packets will be available approximately 3 weeks prior to the start of a sport.
Q: How will I know when they are available?
A: School video announcemnets, Explorer eblasts, check this website and click on the current sport
link, announcements in P.E., flyers around school!
Q: Where can I get a registration packet:
A: Gym, front office, on this website
Q: What is the cost?
A: $65 (1st 4 weeks of sport/Festival)
$25 (All-Stars)/only if selected to an all star team)
Checks please! (Make payable to EMS) Payment for All Stars will only be accepted after the athlete is selected by coaches for the all star team.
Don't forget to take advantage of the tax credit!
Q: What do the terms "All Star" and "Festival" mean?
A: Festival is the portion of a sport which includes the first 4 weeks of practice and a culminating
tournament referred to as "festival". All-Stars are chosen for specific sports after festival. These
athletes practice and compete for an additional 3 weeks.
Q: Where do I turn in the registration packets?
A: Mrs. Wagner (gym), coaches
Q: Do I need to be skilled at a sport to participate?
A: Anyone is encouraged to participate. The goal of festival sports is to introduce, develop skill and
generate interest!
Q: Who do I contact if I still have questions?
A: Email the athletic director or coach for the sport (emails on spoecific sport link).
Q: What should I wear to practice?
A: Coaches will inform athletes about the uniform requirement for their sport. An optional P.E. uniform can be ordered from: http://www.ordermyschoolgear.
Attention All Stars:
If your parents are planning on taking you home after an away game, you will need to get a transportation form from your coach. Your parent will need to sign you out with coach after game also. Only PARENTS may drive students home.
After School Sports Parking/Pick -up:
Bus will pick up by the curb closest to the gym.
Please do not park/stop on curbs in the south lot.
