The Central Colorado Athletic Leauge, CCAL, is a middle school league formed in 2015 by middle schools in the beautiful Pikes Peak region around Colorado Springs to provide their students opportunities to compete in a competitive athletic and academic environment with schools that have the same philosophies. The sports that they offer are football, girls' and boys' volleyball, cross country, boys' and girls' soccer, boys' and girls' basketball, wrestling, and track & field. They also offer the MatchWits academic competitions for students. Member schools include Atlas Preparatory School, Banning Lewis Ranch Academy, Colorado Springs Charter Academy, Colorado Springs Christian School, Colorado Springs School, Ellicott MS, James Irwin Charter MS, Manitou Springs MS, Monument Academy, Peyton MS, Rocky Mountain Classical Academy, Thomas MacLaren School, and The Vanguard School.
