Wrestlers of the MONTH for January!
-Varsity: Nelson Rodriguez. Nelson has been 10-4 since the month of January and is making strides for the REGION tournament. He is hoping for a state qualifying bid. Nelson's grades are all A's and B's this quarter thus far. GO NELSON!
-JV: Victor Huerta/Sergio Santiago/James Donham! These three placed at JV ZONE! Great job you three. Victor is the first JV Zone Finalist since the new reign of Chaparral Wrestling. Sergio placed 4th and James 6th. First time Chaparral has had 3 placers since this reign as well!
-Most Dedicated: Mario DeLaCruz!
Mario buys into the philosophy. Has not missed practices and gives his very all every day. Mario will be a competitor in the coming years! Mario's GPA has improved by 1.0 since becoming a Chaparral wrestler. Proud of you!
