The East Coast Basketball League has announced the addition of the Goldsboro Wings to its roster for the 2025 season. The team will be owned by Raytrell Caldwell, the Teen Sports Coordinator/Director at the Goldsboro Family YMCA.

Caldwell is deeply involved in his community, having worked as a coordinator or volunteer for multiple programs, including Relay For Life, United Way, and the Warm Hearts Mentoring Council. He also serves as Vice President of the PTA Board at Eastern Wayne Elementary School and has been coaching youth programs for over 14 years at the local Boys & Girls Club.

Leading the team on the sidelines will be head coach Brandon Kornegay, who brings experience and leadership to the Goldsboro Wings.

With strong ties to the Goldsboro community, Caldwell is eager to generate excitement and pack the gym this spring when the ECBL arrives in town.
