2nd Annual Farragut Kickball Tournament is Oct 22nd,2022!

The inaugural Farragut Kickball tournament was a blast AND THIS YEAR IS GOING TO BE EVEN BETTER!

 

 

The Farragut Kickball Tournament was created to have some fun outside and get back to normal with a good old American kickball tourney. Farragut Lacrosse boosters decided to hold a fun event and possibly even raise a little money to improve the facilities at the school.  The same peeps that ran the Guardians for Garrett Kickball Tournament years ago are jumping back in and continuing the kickball tradition. We are dedicating this tournament to Garrett Jablonski, our buddy who was the inspiration and drive behind the tournaments in the past. Garrett passed on to heaven on 9/1/19 but is still here in our hearts. 

 

 

The Tournament

This years event will include a high school/adult tournament and a Middle School tournament. Teams will consist of a minimum of 10 players with 10 or less being on the field at a time.

 

 

The tournament is a single elimination tournament with a guarantee of at least 2 games (the first game being a non elimination game). Each bracket game will be 30 minutes or 5 innings, whichever is shorter. We will be using recreational rules (see tab above for rules) and we expect everyone to be good sports and have fun! This is not the world series of Kickball.

 

 

 

As in previous years, teams are encouraged to have a creatively themed “uniform” (the crazier the better) and be able to raise a minimum of $250, (registration of $25 per player) to enter the tournament. Prizes go to the best team uniform and tournament winners in each age group.

 
 
     All registration forms & team waivers must be completed online.  Team entry fees ($250 minimum/ $25 per player) will be paid online via Paypal.  Keep in mind, we ask that all teams be registered no later than October  14th. Any registrations after the 14th can still play but are not guaranted a T-shirt. Team registrations can be made until Oct 14th but members may be added up until game time as long as the team is registered.
 
 
Challenge your family, friends, coworkers, and corporate sponsors to get involved!!!    High Schoolers.....challenge other schools, teams, etc.

THE DETAILS
The event will begin Saturday, October 22nd 2022 at 8am with games starting at 9am. Teams need to arrive no later than 30 mins before game time start. A bracket with times will be emailed to team captains prior to the tourney. We hope to be finished by 4pm on Saturday (you are not required to be there the entire day, only at your game times). All efforts will be in place to keep one team's game times as close as possible and allow for the shortest gaps between games. But, its a good idea to bring chairs and tents to "tailgate" while waiting. We may have food trucks on the grounds. Admission is free for spectators, yet donations are gladly accepted. Any extra T-shirts will be on sale as well and a silent auction to bid on and win wonderful prizes all while helping to support the cause!
 
 
This is a fun event and we want everyone to have a great time, so if you have a problem getting "too serious" then you might want to sit this one out....we just chillin and playin some kickball. So gather up your homies, your football team, soccer team, bandmates, basketball team, lacrosse team, dance team,  robotics team, bocce ball team, bowling team, your skater bros, your video game junkies, and anyone else you can think of and get a team together.
