Greetings baseball fans! Week 2 is now in the books. Congratulations to the White Sox, Brewers and Royals for the wins! The HBL has Mothers Day weekend off so we can celebrate those special moms in our life. (and thank them for letting us play the baseball with our friends all summer) HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO THEM ALL!
Week 3 will be played May 19 and will be the first of 2 doubleheader weeks. The competition will be heating up.
2019 will be one for the books. The HBL will have 9 teams competing for the championship rings. And no doubt will be gunning for the Michiana White Sox who have won it all the last 3 seasons. Congratulations again to them on that great accomplishment! The HBL welcomes the Region Brewers back to the league and welcomes all the other teams, players and their families.
Good luck to all the teams and let’s remember that the HBL promotes sportsmanship and competition. We realize our little leaguer sons and daughters are watching closely. We welcome families at our games and hope everyone comes on out and makes a day of it. It’s a great way to spend time together, relive some of the good old days at the ball field and enjoy a beautiful day!
