The Knights
~Loyalty and Trust~
Welcome to the Knights Winter 2022/23 season.
BOXBOROUGH - Could it be…the beginning of a cinderella story? The 2013 NVO champion Knights came out guns blazing for a strong victory against Sells Cars, an Original Six rival. Capitalizing on an empty sheet of ice, the Knights reviewed and practiced plays before the game in order to execute and put goals on net. Coach Morin also decided to go with an abstract color scheme of jerseys in order to send Sells Cars into a hysteria starting in the first period. Knights and Sells Cars both ended the first period with two goals a piece, but Sells Cars were unprepared for the scoring power of the Knights, especially with #4 in red pulling off the hat trick…officials had to take a time out to pick up hats littering the ice. Goals also racked up by #7, 2, and 16 to finish with a 6-3 win. Goaltender S. Barry once again staying strong between the pipes. Lots of whispers throughout the league about a comeback story…expect the Knights to make only minor changes to the roster for next week’s matchup against vs the Rangers at 8:15 pm on Sunday.
