Inaugural Coed Tournament

July 25th and 26th

The inaugural coed softball tournament will take place on July 25th and 26th at the Excelsior Commons ball field. There is room for 10 teams in the years event. The earliest games will be 8:00am with the championship game on Sunday taking place around 4:00pm. This is an indepentent tournament and will mostly follow USA softball rules with some minor adjustments.

Men will use wood bats (the tournament will have bats available from Max Bats). Teams are welcome to use their own wood bats as long as they are softball specific (no baseball or no corndogs). Women are allowed to use metal/composite bats as usual. Balls will also be provided.

There will be a cash prize for first place. The tournament format and prize amount is dependent on the number of teams registered. Registration is $250/team.

Registration is through Minnetonka Community Ed.
