Carpenter Cup 2019
PA Sting Gold will be well represented on the 2019 Chester County and Catholic League Carpenter Cup Teams. This Tri-State area High school All-star tournament is hosted by the Philadelphia Phillies organization and begins Monday June 17 at FDR Park in Philadelphia.

The girls had a chance to knock some rust off last wekend at the Spooky Nook 18U Dome tournament as they prepare for their high school seasons. They had bracket game wins over EC Bullets - Piening and
PA Xtreme Gold, finishing in 2nd place to Nook 18U Elite in the championship game.

Ava is class of 2022 at Downingtown West HS and her primary position is pitcher.
We are excited to have her join the Sting family!

We would like to welcome Mary Picozzi as our newest member of
PA Sting Gold.
Mary is a junior at Lansdale Catholic and a three sport athelete. She is a pitcher and plays short stop. We are excited to have her!
Diamond 9 Sun Classic Fall Showcase was an incredible experience for our team! The girls had the opportunity to play 8 games in 3 days against top teams from 7 different states including, California, Texas, Colorado, Illinois, Michigan, Georgia and Florida. The Boombah Soldiers Creek complex was amazing!
During the the 3 day event over 40 college coaches were in attendance at our complex, including UPENN, Yale,Purdue, Baylor, Brown, Messiah, UAB, Flagler , Illinois and UMASS to name a few.
This was our last event for the fall. We will be working hard all winter to prepare for an exciting Summer schedule which we will post soon!
Sting Gold finished 3-1-1 in the 16U division at the Legendary Showcase in Virgirnia Beach. We also played an 18U game vs Tri State Thunder and lost 5-0 to a D1 pitcher committed to Virginia Tech. We arrived with a 9 player roster due to injury and had the misfortune of losing another player due to an injury in the first game of the showcase. We played 5 more games with an 8 player squad and relied on help from each opponent to lend us an outfield player.
Sting Gold went 2 -2 at the Team New Jersey Showcase this past weekend. All games were very competitive with two of them being decided by a single run. The girls continue to learn and grow as we challenge them to play against the best competition in the area. Congratulations to Noelle Reid, Morgan DeFreitas and Taylor Croak on a combined total of 6 out of the park homeruns!

Who We Are
We are a highly competitive travel Fastpitch softball team out of Limerick PA composed of players born in 2003. We play regional A level and showcase tournaments up and down the east coast. We play TEAM softball focused on development, competing and having fun.

July 12-15: Congratulations to our Sting 14U Elite on their championship win in the 2018 Legendary Summer Scorcher in Virginia Beach with an undefeated record of 8-0!
June 9-10: Sting 14U Elite was undefeated with a 5-0 record in the NJ Outlaws 18U East Coast Showdown Showcase!
June 2-3: Congratulations to our Sting 14U Elite on their championship win in the 2018 NJ Pony States tournament!
