Express Golf tourney a huge success!
A fantastic day of golf, laughs, drinks and food at the Transcona Railer Express Golf Tourney. A full slate of teams, great weather and once again people, companies and fans showing their support for the hockey club. Team Turner Jr along with Selly Jr, M. Tods and Janas took home the bragging rights with a questionable -12.🤔Brent Nickle closest to the hole in Mens while Shellie J Anderson grabbed the Ladies division. Team Coe, ST, Mclure and K.Tods putted their way to glory. Multiple best dressed teams included Jenn Jones Boomer, Anita Peters, Delly and Vandy's teams. Reilly Labrun took home the Coleman Cooler Package, Nolan Schade a Blackstone, Bruchanski the Ozark Cooler Package, Jason Stalker a Blackstone and Mike Gordichuk with Bacon for a Year! Ken Schneider won a cool $1150 on the 50/50. Thank you to everyone for your support and see you next year.

2024-25 MMJHL season comes to a close
The Railer Express wish to thank all our families, sponsors and fans for supporting our club all season. It was wonderful to see our rink full to enjoy Jr hockey playoffs once again. Though we fell short in our goal to win the MMJHL championship we had a very good season, something to be proud of. The finals were a battle with the Riels and full marks to them on their victory.
Hold your heads high gents Transcona is proud of your season.

Players, families and staff celebrated a season ever so close to a championship at our annual year end dinner at Dals handing out our individual awards, scholarships and special recognitions.

Railer Express head to the 2nd round of playoffs with a dramatic triple overtime victory in game 6 to defeat the reigning 3 time MMJHL champion Canucks. Trey Sellen and Nolan VandenBussche continue leading the way in scoring and connected for the overtime winner. Delly was solid in the pipes stopping nearly 70 shots in almost 6 periods for the victory.
A few days rest, some practice and Express take on the Charleswood Hawks in round 2 starting Sunday March 23rd at Eric Coy Arena, then return home for game 2 at East End Arena on Wednesday March 26th.

Sportsman Dinner 2025
Thank you to all, parents, fans, community members and sponsors who attended our 12th annual Sportsman Dinner to make the sold out another huge success. Philly knocked it out once again, keeping the night flowing and entertaining us with some great banter in the hot stove with Dale Weise, Dwayne Gylywoychuk and Russ Rominiuk.
The Railer Express sincerely appreciate the tremendous support from our community to help create such a first class event and program for Transcona. See you all at the rink for playoffs - Round 1 starting Friday March 7th.

Breakfast with Santa
Hundreds of minor hockey players and their families enjoyed a pancake breakfast put on by East End CC along with the Railer Express. Every child received oranges and candy canes along with a visit from special jolly ole St Nick. Thanks to all the volunteers from the club, as well as players, staff and EXPRESS Board members. All proceeds, nearly $1,200, along with non-perishable donations being collected through December will be delivered to the Transcona Foodbank.

ers, staff and board members continue their annual support at the Transcona FoodBank for November and December openings again this year. Express players — Deloronde, Mccorrister, Howell, Kyle Todoruk, Marino, Turner, McLure, Campbell, Van den Bussche, Bruchanski, Johannesson and Chudley all gave they time generously to help in Nov/Dec. The staff and recipients at the Foodbank look forward to the helping hands for Christmas hampers.
Volunteer skating clinics
Railer Express coach Gagnon and several Express players take to the ice every Wednesday for two hours running skills development skates for 2 hours with U7 and U9 players along with their team coaches.
