Padres Win 2nd game of the Season by Beating Cubs 2-1
Padres Win 2nd game of the season vs the Cubs. In the 1st inning Tatis Jr hits a 2 run homer to start the game off. But it was pitching of the Padres that held the Cubs off until the 6th when the Cubs score their only run of the game and Padres Pitching with Darvish went 5 inning and gave upo 4 hits. Strikes out 9 Cubs. Rizzo being teh only Cub hitter to really take it to Darvish the whole game. But the bullpen held it's ground Melancon giving up the only Homerun of the game and Altavilla Finishing off the 7th with3 Strikee outs. to give the Padres 2-1 win over the cubs.
