The Central Colorado Athletic Leauge, CCAL, is a middle school league formed in 2015 by middle schools in the beautiful Pike's Peak region around Colorado Springs to provide their middle school students opportunities to compete in a competitive athletic and academic environment with schools that have the same philosophies as each other. The sports that they offer are football, girls volleyball, cross country, boys' and girls' soccer, boys & girls' basketball, wrestling and track & field. They are also offering the Match Wits academic competitions for the students. Member schools include Atlas Preparatory School, Banning Lewis Ranch Academy, Colorado Springs Christian School, Colorado Springs Charter Academy, Colorado Springs School, Ellicott MS, James Irwin Charter MS, Manitou Springs MS, Monument Academy, Peyton MS, Rocky Mountain Classical Academy, Thomas MacLaren School and The Vanguard School.
