As the starting Shortstop for the 2019 FHSAA Class 8A State Championship team, Cade finished his senior season with a .353 Avg. including 36 hits, 5 doubles and 4 home runs, 15 walks, 15 RBI's, 5 stolen bases and 27 runs scored. As a 4 year letterman Cade Shissler finished his Raiders Baseball career as one of the best shortstops to ever play at Plant City High School. He finished with a .314 career batting average including 36 walks, 77 hits, 11 doubles, 1 triple and 4 home runs with 20 RBI's, 28 stolen bases and 70 runs scored.

In the fall of 2017, Cade was selected for a second time to play in the Hillsborough County Baseball East-West All-Star Game hosted by the Tampa Bay Sports Commission at Jesuit High School.
In December of 2017, Cade verbally committed to attend Stetson University to play baseball and further his academic career.
In the Spring season of his Junior year, Cade moved to Shortstop and was 2nd on the team with a .328 batting average. He led the team in plate appearances with 95, 25 hits, 5 doubles, 1 triple and 24 runs scored. He was second on the team with 10 stolen bases. He also had a .933 fielding percentage with 6 errors in 89 chances.
In the Summer of 2018, Cade again played for the Florida Burn Platinum 2019 team. He was named as an Honorable Mention to the Perfect Game Preseason Underclassmen All American Team.
2016-2017 Sophomore Year
In the Fall of 2016, Cade was selected to play in the Hillsborough County Baseball East-West All-Star Game hosted by the Tampa Bay Sports Commission at Jesuit High School. In the Spring season of his Sophomore year, for the Varsity squad, Cade hit .267, leading the team in runs scored with 15 and stolen bases with 11. He split time during this Sophomore season playing 2B and 3B. Cade’s fielding percentage in his Sophomore season was .911, making 5 errors in 56 chances. In the summer after his sophomore season, Cade played for the Florida Burn Platinum 2019 team and was named to the Perfect Game All Tournament Team.
2015-2016 Freshman Year
In the Fall of 2015, as a Freshman, Cade split time playing both Varsity Golf and Baseball. In the Spring of his Freshman year, most of Cade’s playing time was on the JV squad, but he still qualified for a Varsity Letter. He hit .472 for the Spring JV season and led the team with 16 runs and 9 stolen bases in 17 games. He also tied for the team lead with 1 homerun.
Prior to High School
During his Little League career he played infield, outfield and pitched for the Plant City Little League All-Star team that went back to back as Florida State Champions and Southeast Region Champions in 2011 (10 Year Olds) in Ceredo-Kenova, WV and 2012 (11 Year Olds) in Greenville, NC.
