Let the Playoffs begin!!!
A few reminders going into tomorrows games. First, be sure to make contact with your opponent so that you know when and where you are playing. I made a mistake in the original schedule putting majors and modifieds on Wed, they are playing tomorrow. Secondly, please be sure to text your score in immediately following your game. Schedules for round 2 can not be built untill all scores hae been reported. Lastly, if you are a high seed and have to play on the road because of field availability, high seed still retains the right to take the field first if they wish. Good luck to all teams!!!

A reminder that it is the home team's decision if a game should safely begin. After the first pitch it is the umpire's decision to continue or stop the game because of unsafe conditions. With that being said, many games are umpired by children. The adults should make a decision in order to keep children safe. Please click the link Competition or Practice Guidelines for Heat which is the policy of the MSHSL for guidance.
7.6.26 PLAYOFF UPDATES
The tournament formats below are assuming all teams compete in playoffs. If some teams opt out, the tournament format can change. If a team forfeits a playoff game because of not enough players to start a game, their association will be charged a forfeit fee. Teams can opt out of playoffs by notifying Shawn Northey prior to 10pm Thursday July 16th. Every effort will be to keep games on typical days of the week, however other days may need to be used because of inclement weather.
Minors, Majors and Mods
Games reported by 10pm, Thursday July 16th will count towards seeding.
Coaches, please double check that your name and cell number appear on the coaches tab of the website.
Higher seeds will be given priority to host. However because of field availability, the home team may have to travel to their opponents site
Minors will play Tu & Th, July 21-31. Seeds 1-16 will have a play in game. Winners will advance to a Gold 8 team single elimination tournament, losers will advance to a Silver 8 team single elimination tournament. Seeds 17-19 will have a pool play tournament.
Majors A will play Mon & Wed July 20-30. Seeds 1-16 will have a play in game. Winners will advance to a Gold 8 team single elimination tournament, losers will advance to a Silver 8 team single elimination tournament. Seeds 17-18 will have a best of 3 series.
Majors AAA will play Mon & Wed July 20-30.Seeds 2-15 will have a play in game. Winners and #1 seed will advance to a Gold 8 team single elimination tournament, losers will advance to a Silver 8 team single elimination tournament with the highest seed getting a bye round 1.
Mod A will play Mon & Wed July 20-30.Seeds 4-13 will have a play in game. Winners and seeds 1 thru 3 will advance to a Gold 8 team single elimination tournament, losers will advance to a Silver 8 team single elimination tournament with the highest 3 seeds getting a bye round 1.
Mod AA will play Mon & Wed July 20-30.Seeds 8&9 will have a play in game. Winner and seeds 1 thru 7 will advance to a Gold 8 team single elimination tournament.
Mod AAA will play Mon & Wed July 22-30.Seeds 4&5 will have a play in game on July 22. . Winners and seeds 1 thru 3 will advance to a Gold 4 team single elimination tournament. Because of only 5 teams, Mod AAA can play regular season games through July 20.

Coaches, a few items to be aware of to help the league out.
1. The first game of a double header has a time limit. Single games do not.
2. Please check to see that your phone number is listed and viewable under coaches. if not, text me our enter your information at the following link: 2026 Coaches Directory Information.
3. Please text your opponent the night before each game to confirm time and location. Because of school functions and field availability, there have been several changes.
