The Texas Hawks is a travel ball organization sanctioned by the Spring Klein Girls Softball League and managed by Coach Gilbert Ornelas. We compete around Texas and across the country with teams at the 16U and 18U level. We have players from all around the greater Houston area. The Texas Hawks organization is one of the very first Gold-level ball clubs in the Houston area and is the longest tenured team that still exists today. Our founding manager Dick Haskel started the Texas Hawks nearly 40 years ago, through his leadership now continued by Coach Gilbert the Hawks have assisted over 400 young ladies in obtaining scholarships to play softball at the collegiate level! All of our 2019 - 2021 graduates are now on college campuses competing at the next level, and our excellent roster of current Hawks are trusting the process and working to continue this legacy. We compete to win, but trophy chasing is not the ethos of this team - the 100% commitment of the Texas Hawks organization is to develop young ladies into better softball players and better human beings.

Texas Hawks 18U Gold go 5-2 getting to final 12 in the 2020 USSSA Summer Nationals.
16U Hawks open the Fall 2020 season fighting to the championship game which had to be decided by coin flip due to inclement weather. Way to represent ladies!!
