Coach Jaggers was named Greenwood’s 3rd Head Coach in May 2010. Entering the 2025 season he has an overall record of 256-183, including the program's sixth 14th District Championship in 2024. Twenty-Five players have gone on to further their baseball careers under Coach Jaggers. Prior to becoming the Gators’ Head Coach, Jaggers served as assistant coach under longtime Head Coach Chris Decker from 2002-2009. During that time the Gators were 178-113, were 14th District Champions in 2005, 2008, and finished 4th Region Runner-up in 2004, 2005, and 2008. Jaggers started his coaching career at Drakes Creek Middle School as an assistant football coach, coaching wide receivers and defensive backs from 1999-2004. From 2005-2013, 2018-Present, Jaggers has worked as assistant football coach for the Gators serving as Offensive Coordinator from 2010-2012 and 2021-Present.
He graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in Learning and Behavioral Disorders, and in 2011 earned his Masters in Learning and Behavioral Disorders at WKU. Coach Jaggers graduated from Greenwood High School in 1999 where he was a part of the Gators 1998 and 1999 District Champion and the 1996 and 1999 Regional Runner-up teams. He is married to Candace Jaggers, a Guidance Counselor at GHS, and the two have a son, Canon (18), and a daughter, Kensley (16).
