Amador Valley rolled into Southern California for a spring break trip with a gaudy 8-1 record with their only loss in overtime. No team had scored double digits on the Dons this season. The Eagles spoiled their trip by beating the Dons 10-7 Thursday right before spring break. A hard fought game that the Eagles won with a solid 2nd half and a stellar defensive effort. As has been the story all season, a balanced OP attack that had 7 different Eagles finding the back of the net was too much for a tough Don defense. Egan led all scorers with 3 goals and an assist. Congrats to Jake Pisarcik on his first varsity goal.
Eagles have a difficult week during Spring Break with Thousand Oaks at home on Tuesday and then they travel to Palos Verdes for a rematch of the Northern Division championship game from last year that the Eagles lost 9-6. OP did defeat the Sea Kings in OT during the regular season last year at home.
