HARGRAVE'S CAREER HIGH LEADS SSU TO A 74-53 WIN OVER DENVER
DENVER --- Senior Haron Hargrave scored a career-high 31 points to lead Sacramento State to a 74-53 win over Denver Friday night in a men's basketball game at Hamilton Gymnasium.
Hargrave, who was playing in his first game of the season, finished the contest 11-of-17 from the field, including 8-of-10 from three-point range. His eight three-pointers tied the school record, held by Jameel Pugh and Charlo Davis.
The win evened the Hornets’ record at 2-2 while the Pioneers dropped to 0-3.
