Apparently, DaCar won't be missed this season! Seems the defense was on steroids (pun intended) today at the OPHS Stadium today. Offensively scoring 3 goals a quarter from a Phillips/ Zeolla barrage, Oak Park earned it's success from awesome defense lead by Corey Whelan, Eric Albers, Matt Caspari & a wake-up call goalie hit by Andrew Cohen. Oak Park shut Cate down with a wall only to be compromised by a couple mental errors and 2nd team mistakes in the 4th quarter. SS CIF 6th place Oak Park shut down 5th place Cate 12-6. Oak Park takes on Thatcher on Monday.
