SUPPLY—Alexis Jones scored 22 points and Shaquitta Jones 15 as the Brunswick Community College women’s basketball team beat Caldwell Community College 75-49 Saturday on Walter Shaw Court at the Dinah E Gore Aquatic & Fitness Center.
Danielle Blunt scored 12 points as the Dolphins improved to 2-0.

BCC trailed 8-7 with 11 minutes, 17 secods left in the first half but back-to-back layups by Blunt put the Dolphins ahead 19-12 with 6:47 left.

A steal by Julia Crews and her 3-pointer extended the lead to 24-17. Her 3-pointer seconds before the end of the half gave BCC a 29-17 lead.

BCC maintained the lead in the second half. A rebound by Alexis Jones put BCC ahead 48-29. A steal by Sheena Suttlemyre led to a three-point play by Alexis Jones and a 51-29 lead with 9:19 left. Caldwell never threatened to rally as the Dolphins went on to the victory.
