Hello Raptors, WOW, things just keep getting better. Some exciting news yet still, LPS is preparing to add lacrosse to its Spring 2019 offering.  Go to www.livoniapublicschools.org then navigate as follows:

Livonia Public Schools >> School Board >> Meeting Videos >> 2017-2018 School Year >> April 9, 2018 Committee Meeting

Here is the public committee hearing video where it is announced.  Forward to 2:11:50 mark of video.  There it begins with a 13 minute segment talking about LPS’s current plans.  The key is each High School will be holding interest meetings beginning in May.  Please go, and get as many classmates as possible to attend if interested this will drive how the schools operate (unified or independent).

The next public Committee Meetings are as follows:

April 30

May 21

June 11

We should be monitoring the agenda and mobilize a positive contingent to show support of this initiative.  Congrats for starting High School lacrosse in Livonia.  Without your support and commitment to the sport and our community this would never happen, so a BIG thank you to each of you.

Best regards

Eric Young
