Some of your players have already made a decision about going on to further their education after graduation from your school. I suggest you have them consider the University of Southern California (USC)  I am from MN and know the hockey across the Midwest pretty well.  For example, I have 3 guys from MN on the team right now and all made varsity on their first try.

But bottom line is we have two teams a Div II ACHA and Div III ACHA and the top 26 guys go to the varsity and the next 20 go to the JV.  It is similar to a varsity and junior varsity situation.  The team is in Japan during Thanksgiving break for our intl trip this year.  We go every other year, so as a freshman; a player can expect to take two trips while in the program.  We have been to China, Iceland, Italy, France and now Japan

We are the most hated team in the PAC 8 – not because of behavior issues - but because we have won 6 of the last 9 PAC 8 Championships and runner-up in 2 of the 3 we didn’t win.  We only practice once a week, so that the players can experience college and do well in school – after all – they are here for school, not to go to the NHL.  We keep a good balance and have a lot of fun doing it.  Applications can be found at www.usc.edu.  I have attached a couple of documents that might further help in understanding my background and the team.
