Oak Park was unable to stop Palos Verdes in the 7-8 loss last night at Mira Costa High School in the Semi Final CIF SS Tournament Playoff game. See the story above. Palos Verdes went on to play Foothill-Santa Ana in the CIF SS Finals on Friday, May 9th and lost 11-7. Foothill finished 1st. Palos Verdes was 4th, Oak Park finished 6th. Oak Park was 19th in the State, 45th in the West, and 538th in the Nation. Nationally, St. Ignatius Prep finished 28th, La Costa Canyon in 58th, Foothill Santa Ana 75th, and Palos Verdes in 285th. The only team to beat St. Ignatius, Kent Denver from Colorado finished 15th in the Nation. The team I wanted to come West to play Oak Park from New Jersey, Lawrenceville Prep, finished 7th in the country.
