After an excellent College Career at Hofstra earning CAA Rookie of the Year in 2008, 2 time CAA Player of the Year, 3 time Metropolitan Player of the Year, 4th in scoring in NCAA in 2010-11 with 23.2ppg, led the CAA in assist with 4.8apg, Only player in NCAA to lead them in scoring & assist in 2010-11, 3rd longest active streak in the nation with 55 game double digit scoring, Hofstra All-Time leading scorer with 2,463 & ranks 2nd on CAA's career scoring chart behind Hall of Famer David Robinson, and ranks 5th in Hofstra history in assists, steals and 3ptrs and is one of only two players to tally 2,000pts, 500rebs and 400assts (along with Speedy Claxton), 5th Hofstra Men's Basketball Player to have his Jersey Retired, & finally drafted into the NBA on June 23, 2011 in the 2nd Round by the Golden State Warriors, Charles Jenkins was selected the NYC Finest College Player of the Year.
