Up and coming SSSF amateur fighter Ricky Bekarian improved his record to 2-0 tonight with a three round unanimous decision victory over Joe Suarez.

Saurez comes from a boxing background and came out swinging. Ricky took the fight to the ground in the opening round and nearly finished Suarez who was under mount eating punches when the bell sounded.

Ricky finished the ensuing rounds with more takedowns, control and ground striking to the scrappy Suarez's heavily tatooed face, earning the unanimous decision.

SSSF will be back in action next weekend as Sloppy Joe makes his Bellator debut in Rhode Island on Friday night the 16th and Brandon Fleming throws down the following night up in Maine on the New England Fights card.
