The Nike camp at Alabama brought together more than 300 players from all over the South in what was the biggest and one of the best Nike events of the year. Here's a look at some of the standouts on the offensive side of the ball.

South Carolina two-sport star shines
Class of 2012 quarterback Everett Golson (Myrtle Beach, S.C./Myrtle Beach) is a talented quarterback as well as one of the top guard prospects on the hardwood and will play both sports at North Carolina in two years.

There is no question Golson is a tremendous athlete, but he showed he's a very talented passer as well by winning QB MVP honors. Golson is an intriguing kid who isn't blessed with great size (5-foot-11, 170 pounds) but has a smooth, tight release and plenty of arm strength. He's one of the first quarterbacks we've seen this year who doesn't use the laces to throw but can still spin it with no problem.

"It's just more comfortable for me not using the laces," Golson said. "That's how I've always thrown and I like it. Overall I thought I did pretty well. I think you can always do better but I've been doing a lot of basketball lately so I was happy that I could come out and win that MVP here."
