THREE CAPS CONTINUE ON IN HOCKEY MANITOBA'S

PROGRAM OF EXCELLENCE - MAKE FINAL 25

Goalie Jacey Schettler along with Forwards Callan Harland and Maggie Girard will be moving on to the Final Stage of Hockey Manitoba's Program of Excellence. This involves the final twenty-five players competing for a spot on Team Manitoba this November.  Team Manitoba will go on to compete at the National U-18 Women's Championships hosted by Hockey Canada in Saguenay, PQ, November 2-6, 2011.  The twenty-five players named will attend the U-18 Fall Camp taking place September 30th - October 2nd in Winnipeg which will include a 3-game exhibition series versus the University of Manitoba Bisons Women's team. After the Camp Team Manitoba will be cut back to the 20 player roster that will attend the Nationals.

Alyson Vercaigne was the 4th Caps Player to attend the Top 40 camp and represented the Capitals organization at an extremely high level at a very competitive camp.
